I trust Sebastian and Amrit already know how I feel about my time spent at PP, the immense gratitude and inspiration, so this note is not to convince them of anything. I also know any interested workawayers need only glance through the hundreds of thoughtful and enthusiastic responses here to tell them what they need to know. So I'm merely writing to wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments already expressed and give my 4-smiley rating, whatever it's worth.I will always treasure this experience in my heart, cannot imagine my life without it. I feel I live more fully for it.Sat Naam <3

This is a place that anyone would be deeply fortunate to find themselves at-- it changed me in numerous ways, and I'm thanking to Sebastian for what he's created. To capture how transformative it was for me, let me simply post the message I sent to Sebastian on facebook upon leaving this past summer. Hopefully it convinces others to come: Thank you for these wonderfully kind words and for hosting me . My last two weeks were beyond expectation: intense, expansive, recentering, loving, and more. The community you've cultivated is a special, precious thing that has transformed me in a multitude of ways. I'm so incredibly grateful that I've been introduced to kundalini yoga and plan to keep to in my life. Sebastian, thank you for having the (crazy) ambition and desire to create a place like this. Thank you too for being unendingly honest and blunt: so rarely do I find myself trusting fully in how I stand in someone's eyes, yet with you, I felt that nearly immediately. I'm sad I didn't get to say goodbye in person, but that is only more reason to have our paths cross again. I deeply hope I get to see you two and have the chance to help here again. Best wishes! Thank you for everything!

Thank you Sebastian for the opportunity to take part at this amazing project and experience. a peaceful hidden place hard to describe. The selfmade delicious food, the awesome building with its own energy calms down, the workawayers with their own story, the fireplaces and the Kundalini Room, there is so much to remember and still very present in my mind. always nice to think about that tiny week i have spent there in october. feels like a second family, grounds you to think about next steps, fills you with positive energy and love, inspires and if you are into rebuilding a house you should stay some months! you learn a lot from Sebastian and his knowledge about architecture and rebuildig. i will definitly keep in touch and come by when time, take care and have a good 2017,

Sebastian and his wife were both very welcoming. They took a genuine interest in everyone that was living at the house... I learned about construction as well as yoga while I was there. I will continue to follow Sebastian on social media and hope to see his Yoga studio come to fruition.

I wish I could have stayed for longer, but I had to return to university. The help needed was not difficult, but it was not easy either. The daily schedule formed part of a structured and healthy lifestyle that I was fortunate enough to get a glimpse into during stay. The yoga formed the foundations for everything that happened in the house, and it is what I remember most about PP! I had never tried yoga before and while I was not very talented, I loved every moment of it! It was also fascinating when Sebastian explained the pricipals behind the kundalini belief systems, he is a great teacher. There is something special about this place, a combination of Sebastian, the volunteers and the project that can have a powerful effect and open your mind. Even in my short stay, I know I will never forget ! Sebastian, thank you for your kindness and allowing me to stay even for such a short time. I hope to see you again one day, maybe in South America!

The palace of dreams! I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to stay three weeks here. Each day was a blessing of yoga, laughter, community, delicious food, discussion and satisfying work. Seeing the beauty of the place and what it will become inspires you to work hard at each task. Everything is done with intention, and an open mind will serve you here. There is much to gain, and much inspiration to give. My time at the palace will stay in my head and heart. Thank you <3

Coming here is the best choice to make if you want to get acquainted with one of the most powerful spiritual activities: Kundalini Yoga. No doubt, it is not an easy ride if you only try occasionally (like I did before), and the first times could be the most challenging. But practicing every day, pushing always a little bit more and further past the lines of your comfort zone, that is what creates the magic. Energy levels boosted, stress released, mind harmonised, ready to do good job. I encourage everyone to get immersed :) I intend to keep doing it all the mornings ever since I left. Thank you Sebastian & Amrit for the guidance and the way you managed to bring a group of travelers to the same level of vibes immediately. Best part? The hugs for a good morning (and randomly all through the day) that we shared in the group. Your project is a noble one and it was great to see how a story like this unfolds from scratch. I always wanted to try how it feels living in a commune... <3 I also liked how construction materials are reused and I can't wait to see the long term results of the renovations... including the garden and the biodome! Holistic approach is one the first entries on the list of my keywords, the place inspired me to continue in this direction. Without any exaggeration I can say the people who arrived here for that month, somehow all fit into a great scheme of doing good in this world... Working together on the concrete job, the windows, the storage room, kitchen stuff, etc.; Playing (shredding) the guitar, running in the nearby park, watching Captain Planet on a laid back Sunday morning, all will remain unique and splendid memories! Thanks my friends from overseas and from Europe, see you around! :D Sat nam!

A truly amazing experience, it seems to draw such beautiful people and the building itself is lovely. This is all thanks to Sebastian for creating this project which will continue to grow and bring so much joy. I will cherish the time I spent there and if your looking for hard work but a lot of fun too this is a place I'd reccomend. When you work here you get new skills and a new family of friends who will forever have a place in your heart. Look forward to coming back again some day and I wish to thank everyone who made it such an incredible adventure x

I've procrastinated so long on leaving a feedback because I had no idea how to word my experience there. But as any workawayer that has been there can probably tell you, your experience will change from week to week. It all depends on how comfortable you are with yourself and how well flexible you are with different personalities. You may even have a different perspective on your time there after you leave. I met some amazing people there that I still am in contact with and I am forever grateful. The house itself is completely inspiring. Just waiting for creativity and art to mold it. It reminded me of the house from Fight Club or from The Matrix, 2 of my favorite films. The work was not too difficult & you will try tasks you may not have before depending on the projects at the time. For me, we were working on plastering the walls of the staircase, and even though I wasn't great at it, it was a nice challenge. I will admit though, I was happy when Sebastian suggested I manage the kitchen. There were definitely some strange moments at the house but nothing that didn't add to the unique experience that can only come from here. One tip: If you buy chocolate or ice cream while volunteering there, HIDE IT!

Words cannot describe the incredible experience I had here but I'll give it a go. Each day brought new challenges and rewards stimulating both body and mind. It is a transformative environment filled with a tremendous unconditional love shared within the group that makes everything a joy to partake in. I learned an abundance of knowledge regarding the logic surrounding building and renovation and was lucky enough to see the job I was working on completed before I left. The connections I made whilst there were so unique, those people will forever remain in my heart, we're already anticipating a reunion! Sebastian and Amrit are such gorgeously wonderful individuals, I consider them great friends and will certainly be back to visit them at my next opportunity. Til next time

I am in complete peace and full of smiles, love and vibrant energy after spending 10 days with Sebastian, Amrit and the lovely palazzo tribe! Thank you , thank you, for being such a bundle of joy and light, not only did you inspire me to be my freest and happiest self, but also brought me right on spiritual track with the great morning yoga and concious eating, working and speaking. You are amazing and the project you have started and come so far on, is pure magic. A house made up by helping hands, a sense of community not easily achieved. The work was great, i will cherish and keep the knowledge for the next project to come. The no alcohol/drugs policy was key: it made us appreciate life to its fullest, to listen to our bodies and notice how dependent we can be on outer substances. But life is sweeter when we go within, when we really listen to ourselves and slowly build up, then radiate, all that golden light we have , in order to change the world we live in and make it a better place. We are one, next stop: Galicia or Ecuador!

I arrived here by accident after some disorienting days in Berlin. At first a little skeptical, the beautiful project, the amazing people, the enriching yoga every morning and all its incredible energy grew up on me little by little. I felt at home and at peace while every day was an adventure and I was able to challenge myself, keep learning and get my hands dirty. Now looking back, I appreciate and I am grateful for every moment I spent there. Thank you Sebastian and Amrit for sharing your wonderful home! Best of luck for the future :-)

I spent 4 weeks with Amrit and Sebastian and all the wonderful young people here. It was an adventure for me. What will be the life like with the young people? Will they accept me? And then the great surprise - I felt like 30 years younger! I enjoyed the cooking together, the trips to the lake and of course the good talks. Every day here was a good day. I could carry out my tasks independent. And last but not least I want to mention the close and trusting cooperation with Sebastian. Thank you! Now I hope to keep in touch with this special place and the people I met there.

Jeremie was really happy to play music with you, Sebastian! Thanks again and we won't forget to send some maple sirup! ;) hope to see the house again some day! Xxxxx

I can't express my gratitude what I feel and love what I received here in these short two weeks! A special atmosphere with unique characters lots of fun hard work and shared everything! Rooms, toilet, time and thoughts...At the beginning I felt as an outsider in a secret place...but now I can happily claim that this well-chosen people became my friends spending 24 hours together and never get bored! Special thanks for Jenni for her presence! It is TRULY an experience... you don't understand til you experience it!

I came to this magical community 5 weeks ago, worn out from my travels and doubting myself and the purpose of this little journey I embarked upon almost 4 months ago. I am leaving now with much much more than words can express, but here's a little shot: incredible new family from across the world, a renewed and enlarged relationship to the divine in myself and in relation to my fellow humans, the earth and the unknown, clarity and trust in my path, enough love to fill my lungs and body daily, a healthier relationship to my physical body, blossoming in my relationships with my loved ones abroad and an urge to learn, spread and bask in the light of life with whomever/whatever I meet as I continue. Thank you thank you thank you, @palazzo.pitti for everything! I am so grateful. Now off to Spain for my last two weeks in Europe!

I only stayed for 10 days, but it was an incredible experience. This place is unique - an atmosphere full of strong vibes and peace. I really enjoyed staying there, meeting new people and learning new skills. If you want to learn hidden/other sides of yourself or surround yourself with open minded people - this is the right place. Although the schedule (yoga, work) is quite strict and demanding, it is definitely worth it. Thank you Amrit and Sebastian for creating here. Thank you for putting trust in us and give us so much responsibility to be a part of this process!

For me it was my first experience in Workaway and I just can say thanks to all the people that i met in PP for the amazing time there... but especially to Amrit , Bence and Sebastian. they are creating a very unique place to learn, share, and where every day is full of lessons. To the workaweyers i just can say that this is not a place to stay, or to go on holidays... is a place to work, to meditate and to practice helthy lifestyle. Thanks again, Franco!

I've stayed here for two weeks, but I wished I could have stayed longer, it was really awesome. It was my first Workaway, and it went really well. It's incredibly fulfilling, Sebastian is great and his project is really beautiful. The atmosphere in the house is really positive, everyone is kind and interesting, there are no moments in which you're not learning something about the world or about yourself. Even if you're not vegetarian, you'll appreciate the food which is really tasty and organic. I felt really happy and in peace everyday, wishing to come back.

I guess I got the record for the longest stay(or maybe now Bence's first in line!), anyway my personal experience with Sebastian, Amrit and other guests helped me incredibly to grow as human being in a world that sometimes doesn't fit to me very well. :) I learned lots of important lessons in life at this time, besides I had the opportunity to prove myself across a wide variety of situations, and what I fell about this is genuine gratitude because only now I fell feisty and so certain of what I believe and what I want in life. On one side, Sebastian has been pushing me strongly to find the Man I want to be; on the other Amrit has helped me find the spiritual beauty that is inside of me. This is more than "just another place in space and time", is a way of being and more importantly an incredible experience for who's ready to live with. Because of this authentic time I have been given the opportunity to rediscover myself in Ecuador and start working on my higher purposes in life. I will keep this experience alive my whole life. Thank you, everyone, for sharing such a great adventure together!

How can I possibly put into words my experince. Amrit, Sebastian and Bence are now family. They are such wonderful people, j am so in love with them, the house, the people, the project. You work hard in fields you may not have experince in but soon you'll find talents and strengths you didn't know you had. My mind, body and soul were worked hard and in return I was surrounded by unconditional love and hugs. If there is an issue (which when living as a group there usually is at some point) it is addressed in the best way and solved in an open way. When people are not open to doing this then possibly that's where they will find fault. If you have the opportunity to come here I can not recconend enough; I stayed for 2 months and I know my PP story is not over yet. I wish I could put my feelings into words because I feel no matter what I write won't express my wonderful time that I still feel blessed with every day even though I'm not longer there. Until next time!

I am so thankful that I was welcomed here, and that I could spend 3 weeks in this little palace. I met so many wonderful people there with whom I had such heart-warming encounters. I feel enriched and deeply touched. Meetings like these don't happen just out of the blue, I believe this place gives a solid ground for this to happen. Because it is filled with the energy the hosts, whom I unfortunately only saw for a few days but their presence was still there the weeks they left. Thank you for creating such a place, for helping me hold on to the fire of hope that's burning inside of me that speaks about an alternative way of living, of connecting on a deeper level and of freedom in being.

I spent one and half month here but I felt it was like a year. Thank you Amrit and Sebastian for making me feel always like at home also to all the workawayers I met there, everyone of you were amazing. Eventhough you have to work hard, Sebastian encourages you to give your true potential always with a smile in his face and something funny to say. It felt really good when you finish a task and he aproaches to say thanks and good job. Thanks for all the experiences I had there!, I recomend this place eyes closed! I will always keep this place and all the people I met there in my heart. I'll be back someday!

The vision that you both have to create a place of beauty and tranquillity is inspirational. The building is remarkable, and to see something that has been neglected for so long being restored in this way by workaways all learning new skills is the way that these kind of projects become sustainable. We hope you all enjoyed our food, it was a challenge to cook in the garden, but that's what Workaway is all about! Very best wishes,

Sebastian and Amrit don't need a good review to know how amazing they are or how much they impact all of the international nomads who find themselves here. Just a week and a half felt like a month, and I was sad to leave my temporary home and family. As my first Workaway, I was nervous about doing yoga every morning and the discipline factor, but I couldn't have had a better time in Rathenow. I was happy to be the camera girl, because catching everyone in their best light was easy, and the house was naturally incredible. Surrounded by such genuine people, thank you for having me and I think of you often! Much love, Reese

Dear Sebastian, Amrit and Bence, As my one year journey around Europe was coming to an end, I felt I needed some sort of meditation course where I would have the time for sacred silence and retrospection. However, I couldn't find schedules that would fit with my available time. So, I searched for similar activities thru workaway and I felt so fortunate to find your sweet abode! I am very grateful that you open your home wholeheartedly to a weary traveler like me, although, I did not have chance to meet you and Amrit in person. Learning that you were not around and letting the volunteers stayed at your place, managed by another volunteer is transpired as a kind of deep level of trust. In many ways, you taught us, volunteers - about "empowerment" and a "sense of ownership". Looking from a perspective that I am "part" of the "sum of its whole" helped me to be more responsible for whatever task was given to me. Bence, as the managing team leader of the group was really cool, flexible and reasonable in giving tasks to everyone. He possesses inner strength that makes the collaboration of all volunteers possible. Thank you for teaching us Kundalini Yoga. I have noticed that doing yoga regularly before commencing with work sustained my energy and kept me motivated for the entire day. There is so much joy, love and peace here. The daily communion of coming together to partake for every meal, the bonfire at the garden as we welcome the summer solstice, the group singing accompanied by guitar, meeting and listening with fellow travelers experiences in life, exchanges of creative ideas and making dreams a possibility - these are the kind of community that we need in our world today. Sebastian, Amrit and Bence - thank you so much for the opportunity! Sending lots of love and hugs, Mafey

Dear Sebastian and Amrit, as this was my first Workaway experience, I didn't know how the other places are gonna be but describing this place now to somebody else, I am always saying it was workaway Heaven. From the first moment I felt very homie and welcome and very connected to the place. Everything is so good organized and planned. After breakfast we started to work and it was never more than five hours. Everything was very fair for both of the sides. Sebastian and Amrit were sharing their ideas and everybody kind of knew what was going on and what is going to happen. The work always was fun and if you didn’t like it you could say something and they would have found something else for you. I enjoyed every single day of those two weeks i stayed there and i would have stayed longer if I didn’t had other plans. But I know it was not the last time I have been there! I met great people there and our group was fantastic, I still miss them and also hope to see them again. Thank you for everything I enjoyed my stay a lot and also took a lot for myself from it. The time was short but it feels like i have been there definitely longer than two weeks. See you soon. Lots of love and kisses Kerstin

For me it was my first experience, and it could not be better. The first weeks Sebastian and Amrit were not physically around, but we could feel all the love they were sending us. And still the house functioned in s great way. Bence and jenny were so helpful with everything and so clear and compassionate when the organising of the work was being done. Practising Kundalini was very important also to keep the body in good shape for work and after work. I found beautiful people in this house and kindred spirits. I have made friends for life. Anyone who can honestly open up as much as they can will have beautiful experiences also. I am so thankful for everything.

I stayed 2 weeks in this magical place, I didn't have the pleasure to meet the host but I can tell that there is a special energy there which will leads you to your higher potentiel, your higher self ! I learned so much on myself, everyday was unexpectable and full of lessons, I do feel different since I left, once you go there, be ready to jump rapidly through invisible bridges of your evolution path ! I feel so grateful that places like this exist on Earth, this is a real blessing ! Amrit and Sebastian, I do love you Lionel (France)

This is an island of deep communication. I got into deep communication with lovely people, I got into deep communication with the house and I got into deep communication with myself. A place of shelter for those who want to connect. I came also to the conclusion that design is more than a well proportioned object - real design is the highest state of harmony and has its own spirit. To be part of creating a spirit and giving back the energy to the house was a true experience - the place will give it back to you in return, shelter you together with the wonderful souls, Amrit and Sebastian. I will come back. Thank you so much. Satnam.

Dear Sebastian and Amrit. We had a wonderful time here. It was short, but now we are already planning to come again in summer time for 2 weeks. This place is very special. There is a caring and loving energy and if you consider to come dont hesitate. You will find out great things about life, yourself and others. Share special moments and enjoy the stillness and the pleasure of proces. Thank you so much for this beautiful time, see you soon

This is a very special place that can definitely change your life. So, if you come, come with your heart full of love and open to receive. Sebastian and Amrit will guide you on your journey, and the other volunteers will brighten your way. I had an absolutely amazing time in this project and I am truly grateful to everyone for that. The place is pretty, the people are beautiful, the yoga is blessing, the food is amazing and the tasks are fullfilling. A great experience for sure. Thank you for everything _/_

This is magnificent space where you can go through the intensive process of growth if you are open and you can let go. Amret and Sebastian stimulate the vibration energy fixed in the ground, in space, buildings, objects and people. I am full of gracefully to the universe that i could see the purest light, god in the action in in their earthly forms. They accepted me and helped to feel that I am creator of the present situation. In harmony I can be creator of physical materi: of my body and I can be creator as a designer. In my project: Amret and Sebastian give direction in which you can follow - they are like the arms of a star. They allow illuminate a small ray of the universe, until step by step will be able to light up a perfect six-pointed star (or even eight- or perfect eleven-star) People who are building this place become sparking power, that comes sometimes by black stars. I thank each of you for the lights and your hugs on heavier moments (especially for E, B, G. & G.) Just love, See you soon

This was my first workaway experience, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But this place turned out to be amazing on many levels. I've never before received such a warm welcome from strangers, and everyone; Sebastian, Amrit and the other workawayers, are a kind and loving group of people. I had so much fun, and learned a lot about myself and about the spiritual life. Both from all the wise people and with the help of kundalini yoga/meditation. I really wish to go back one day! Already miss all of you beauties. Thanks for everything.

Who knew that such life and vibrancy could be found in the sleepy rural town of Rathenow!? I was fortunate enough to spend a thoroughly enjoyable 3 snowy weeks here in January after reading an endless array of positive comments for this house by previous workawayers. Upon arrival I was greeted with kindness & enthusiasm from both Amrit & Sebastian; two of the nicest people you could possibly meet. From there, every day was an exciting opportunity to get stuck into a wide range of help that, although demanding at times, are all strengths that are beneficial to any workawayer looking to travel the world and improve their skillset. The daily morning yoga was also GREAT fun! I'm relatively new to the whole process but I could definitely feel its benefits in just a few days. Amrit & Sebastian have a world of knowledge about yoga & meditation, so you'll be in safe hands there. & don't let the early mornings ever deter you: we were regularly getting up at 7am with lows of minus 12, so for anybody lucky enough to come to this house in warmer months, you have to do yoga at least for me. Minus 12 was rather cold.. It's hard to focus on just a few words to say about Palazzo Pitto without me remembering something else great about it and getting all excited and wanting to hop on the next flight back to Germany.. All of the other volunteers were incredible, the cooking was fun, eating the food was even better, the house is remarkable and Amrit & Sebastian are fantastic hosts. I'll definitely be back as soon as possible.

Oh I don't know where to start! At first I am very thankful for Amrit and Sebastian for hosting me. It was a pleasure to stay here, to learn, to grow, to exchange and to discover. When I think about the time I spent there things like breakfast and lunches in the sunny garden, waking up together with the sun while doing yoga, evening singing sessions, very colorful food, looooongest talks about everything until you can hardly understand what your talking about pop up in my mind. Amrit and Sebastian decided to host me even though they had all places booked at the time of my arrival. It happened that after my unplanned early arrival I stayed with them for over a month. Many experiences were new for me - I didn't know much about yoga or meditation, Amrit shared a lot of knowledge about natural treatment and herbs with me which I apreciate a lot. I was responsible for the kitchen during all my stay basically, so I discovered new ways to cook vegetarian and vegan food, I explored the world of spices and I learned to be flexible by many means. I have to admit that atmosphere was really intense or stressful at times, but Sebastian is always willing to figure out what are the roots ot this kind of situations. I liked it a lot that when we had a problem in a house it was discussed openly with a willingness to solve it. Another great thing is that Amrit and Sebastian are really trying to find a niche for every workaway'er so that he could give his best and feel good doing that. Being there as it is said on their profile requires a lot of effort, it may require to cross ones borders in many ways. But one thing I know for sure - I left different than I arrived there. This place helps to grow! Best wishes and many thanks to Amrit and Sebastian.

I had the most incredible time here with Amrit and Sebastian! So many things learnt, from the kundalini yoga to concreting to medicinal plants, the list really goes on and on. Sebastian lent me a classical guitar which was great as I was really missing playing since leaving home in Aus, and we often played Beatles songs and mantras. Also the connections I made with so many other workaways including Sebastian and Amrit, were truly amazing, and I believe I have made lifelong friends :) I cannot express in words how truly grateful I am for having the privilege to stay here and learn the things I did. Lots of Love, Jack

Thank you Sebastián and Amrit for a wonderful experience here! The kundalini yoga, meditation techniques, advise on india and medicinal plants, numerolgy reading, inspiring talks, singing and music evenings, and living with you and the other volunteers has really openned my eyes and heart. I really enjoyed working in your garden, and the extra odd Jobs of sanding, painting, cooking, cleaning and making bread (so many good learning experiences, sorry if the bread was a little hard though hahaha). Two weeks definitely wasn't enough. Thank you for your patience and generousity, I would love to come back some day.

WOW! This has been my first Workaway experience and I'm certain proud of having been in this place. Work's been very hard and I had the opportunity to prove myself. This place is always proving yourself and that's the best thing, in my opinion. The atmosphere is good and there's always an amazing energy in the house. Sebastian is a great person, he's always ready to listen to you and to help you and Amrit has always something to tell you. Yoga in the morning is so powerful, I kept training, thank you! Looking forward to come back, maybe next year. Thank you so much for this amazing month

This was our second workaway experience , we spent two months in the cold winter of Rathenow! but they were amazing. The work was hard but well rewarded ! The experience of restoring an entire room and collaborate to complete a beautiful painting left us great lessons. Amrit and Sebastian thank you very much !. Thank you for opening the doors of your house, delicious food, recipes, cookies!!!, for yoga classes, meditations, advices, share your experiences with us and make us feel like part of your family. An unforgettable experience and highly recommended . See you soon !!

Amrit and Sebastian are lovely folks. My experience here was probably very different than most workawayers' time there because I went during the dead of winter and I was the only one at the time. The space they provided for me was very nice and cozy...cold to be sure but the bedroom had a wood stove and they let me use all the wood I needed. I spent many hours in the evening sitting around their fire with them too. The work was hard but rewarding. I scraped, sanded and painted doors and windows the whole week I was there. I was actually going through sort of a rough patch in my travels at the time and both Sebastian and Amrit were so open, loving, and helpful. I felt very at ease in their presence and they were so understanding. We did some yoga in the mornings followed by delicious breakfasts that I still think about, Sebastian and I played some music together, Amrit gave me many new meditation tools and they both gave me lots of good conversation and company. I would recommend going to work/stay with them in the summer or fall, but quite honestly I personally did not enjoy the weather in Rathenow in early February! (And they were kind enough to warn me that it was not the best time of year, but I still went!) Although the warmth of these kind hosts made up for the cold and cloudiness outside, I longed for sunshine or at least snow, and whenever I walked in their beautiful sleeping garden I imagined how lovely and alive it must he in the summer! Also, be prepared to work hard! This was my first workaway and some of the ones I have done since made this one seem a bit serious, but I will also say that it really felt good to work hard and I can imagine that it must be even more fun with a group! Overall I had a very positive experience here. Thank you for everything, Amrit and Sebastian! Sorry for the late review by the way

We stayed one week with Amrit and Sebastian helping to set up sacred tectures gallery exhibit. We stayed super busy and worked very hard, and sometimes it was very stressful. However in the end, it turned out to be a great experience and we learned a lot. Amrit and Sebastian both have a lot of experience and wisdom to offer ands were very generous with their home. Yoga, (when we woke up in time) was quite wonderful and a great way to start the day. All in all, we would love to come back and see you again!

I spent one beautiful and intense week with Sebastian and Amrit, preparing an exhibition. Everyday was a challenge for me, facing difficult moments and a variety of situations that forced me to stay in my heart, trying to get the relevant learning in each new task. We were a beautiful group of workawayers that finally felt as a little family, trying to support the others. Thank you wholeheartedly

I only stayed here for one week but found it to be an extremely rewarding experience. Sebastian and Amrit were extremely welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed doing kundalini yoga in the mornings and then working during the day. So much progress has already been made and it will be exciting to see how it evolves over time. Thank you, Sebastian and Amrit!

One of the greatest learning experiences in my nine months of traveling. Upon arriving, I wasn't sure where I had ended up, as the building is still in the early-mid stages of renovation. These thoughts soon washed away as I realized the amount of creative energy and passion that existed here.Sebastian has an eye for artistic excellence and ingenuity. I was inspired by his presence and by his vision of what he aims to accomplish. It takes a great deal of patience and drive to undertake such a project. There were many different perspectives, philosophies, and states of mind under one roof. Each of the volunteers and hosts were very unique from the rest. Our conversations during meals always turned in very interesting, and a lot of times heated, directions. It was entertaining being a witness to the vast diversity that exists amongst us humans. The work, for me at least, was mostly physical and getting your hands dirty. Not a problem at all for me. I did not have hardly any experience with renovating homes or anything before coming here. Some tasks were outside of my experience and knowledge, but Sebastian made sure to instruct thoroughly. Because of Sebastian's passion, vision, and drive, volunteers will typically receive much direction and sometimes critique in their work - this is with good intentions, only to ensure that the quality of the work is maintained and that the volunteer understands the goal.We had Kundalini yoga sessions every morning, or at least every couple days for me. :) These were very energizing and helped generate positive energy between everyone actively participating. We also had occasional presentations by volunteers or Sebastian on passions and interests that we may have. I was very grateful to be able to share the gift of Vipassana meditation with everyone. I felt a strong connection to everyone that evening especially.Having other volunteers around really helped make the place feel like a community, and I gained a lot of knowledge during my stay. The food was vegetarian and filling. Everyone rotates on helping out with the meals - the way it should be. Rathenow is a small town, but you can find some cool spots to walk around, and I even found some nature to explore at a nearby lake. Berlin is also an hour away by train if you're into that.It was a special couple of weeks for me. It felt like what a Workaway experience should feel like - people from all different cultures and mindsets coming together, sharing and learning. I am very grateful for my experience . Sebastian is someone that I could connect with and communicate to very easily and comfortably. Amrit is knowledgeable in different areas of spirituality, and even did my numerology for me. :)If I end up visiting or studying in Berlin one day, Sebastian and Amrit will definitely be hearing from me. :) I wish you guys all the very best, and can't wait to see the progression.(Side note: don't worry about the spirits or weird energies floating around the house - they seemed mostly friendly.)

I would say, that this was one of my most wonderful experiences of life. Everyday was a moment of learning and sharing. We loved our time, it was a very enjoyable experience. The house and the people were vibrant and fun. Amrit and Sebastian were a great family to join for a short stay during our travels. The tasks (for us) were time consuming but we were satisfied with our work, and we hope Sebastian and Amrit were too. The work was tailored to each workawayer to take full advantage of each individuals strengths. This was a very warm and happy environment to be in and we are very thankful to everyone here for being so accepting of two boisterous 19 year-olds. We look forward to visiting again in the future, and wish everyone the best.

Amrit and Sebastian, thank you again for the inspiring and formative time. Your house is the perfect place for those who are open to give and to receive, who have a healthy sense for community live and creating together! The passion and devotion you put in your projects is infectious and the happiness you keep is addictive. Sometimes it was a challenge aswell but the positive vibes among people and your playfulness outweigh by far! And as we discovered together the challenges are part of the selfdeveloping process aswell!I`m glad to take this experience with me for ever and that I can call myself part of your project! See you soon, Marlene

A very good moment, a familly found in Rathenow. Sebastian and Amrit are two beautiful people who give a lot to all the workawayers. Yoga time or to sleep: that's the choice. Take care of you.

I came into this project during a very chaotic period of my travels. I was feeling burnt out and aimless, and I felt a strong need to reestablish purpose in being out on the road. Having said that, I am so glad that I was able to participate in the creation of this center. The hosts are wonderful, and the atmosphere is healing and conducive to spiritual growth. Best wishes!

This was my first workaway, and I can say I had a wonderful experience, tried new things in my life and met fantastic people. Despite it´s hard to adapt to new situations and places, Amrit and Sebastian are great hosts, they are warm and let you feel at home. Also, they are direct and clear, which I appreciate. The work isn´t hard and enables to learn new skills, and you´re always welcome to try to improve the efficiency on how it´s done. Finally, my fellow workawayers were brothers to me this 2 weeks. I can only express my gratitude to Sebastian, Amrit, for letting me participate in this amazing proyect, and I am sure it will be completed succesfully. Good luck and hope to see you soon again!

I spent 10 wonderful days at his awesome yoga centre in the making. It was my first work a way and what an experience it was! The work didn't feel like work, and Sebastian is a great and fair leader who I grew and instant friendship with. He shows appreciation and gives feedback always with a smile. On top of this, I learned so much about my mind and body. I joined in as many yoga sessions as I could and learned a lot of new techniques. Plus, Sebastian and Amrit will help you focus your mind on things you want to achieve with worldly advice and meditation techniques.I would recommend this work a way to anyone, but especially to those wanting to learn about meditation and eat great food at the same time. Also, if you are one who needs a place to calm your mind and figure out 'what next in life', this is the place to go.Thank you Sebastian and Amrit. I hope to come back at some stage :-)

I was only at the center for one week, but it's amazing how in such a short time you can feel like part of a community. I meet wonderful people from all over the world, and also learned a lot about remodeling, yoga, spirituality, and pursuing a holistic lifestyle. Thanks everyone for teaching me so much, and I hope some day to come back and see the house complete. :)

I spent 2 weeks here and met some great people from all over the world. I helped primarily with different types of wood work, which was a good experience. I also participated in some of the morning yoga sessions (Kundalini Yoga). It's a nice small town and a great area to explore. I'm looking forward to seeing the facility when it's fully up and running!

17 amazing days here: staying and doing different types of the construction work was loads of fun, and the yoga session and to meet all the other workayers. My workaway experience was a mixture of hardwork, spiritual moment and an international community experience and this was possible thanks to Sebastian & Amrit, a nice and warming couple.

This place has got a lot to offer in terms of creativity, music (guitars), yoga, an international crew with rich experiences, a spiritual dimension and an exquisite cuisine. Be ready to step out of the mundane 9-5 world and enter a space of magic and wonder. :)

Sebastian and Amrit are great hosts. I enjoyed my time there both working and free time. We did meditations and Kundalini yoga in the morning. For me, it was an ideal way to start a day together. Everyday, I learned something new from both Sebastian and Amrit. It was totally working and learning on the spot. As I have never worked at the restoration site the work was sometimes physically challenging, but it was an interesting experience for me. During work time, asking questions or making suggestions were totally fine, but NOT when Sebastian is working on plastering :-p.During free time, sometimes Sebastian took us out to the lake nearby and exploring the town with Sebastian's architectural guide. Relaxing at their lovely garden is also very enjoyable. Birds love their garden and the neighborhood's cats too. I'd love to visit them again one day.

I was only one week at Amrit and Sebastian's place but it felt like one month! Incredible people and a wonderful project!I was looking for something between design, arts, building and spiritual living,... and that's exactly what I found! I helped them with plastering, painting and also taking some nice architectural photo from the building.I'm really looking forward to come back in the future and see how all the project is evolving!

I was 9 days at this place. I went there to put the plans of my house into the computer. we worked inside the house to continue to finish the meditation and yoga rooms. so we did plastering and sanding doors and cleaning. in the morning I prepared the breakfast and helped with the dishes and making tea from herbs out of the garden. we went also to Berlin to the design night and I had also time to visit a friend. I learnd also about building a house with styrofoam and concrete and many other things. I joined the yoga and meditaion in the morning twice. the garden and the house are very beautyful and Amrit and Sebastian are wonderful, kind personalities. I can recomend this place to all who are interested to stay away from normal life for a bit. I really enjoyed it! I hope to go back once....
